We’ll update this page weekly (hopefully) with the objectives being studied, and some of the literature being read.

Regular attendance is essential for mastery of the objectives.  We’ve got a full year ahead getting the students ready!

Homework in Kindergarten is VERY informal!!  It usually consists of students occasionally bringing objects from home that begin with a particular letter or relate to a theme we’re studying. We want the students to go home and discuss with their parents what they are doing at school.  A participation grade is given.

What’s Happening

Please sign our guestbook!!

We know that our students come to us with a variety of abilities.  We will work with them to establish routines such as hanging up their own jackets and backpacks, placing their sunny card in their attendance pocket, and finding their place on the carpet for circle time.  Each student has a basket to keep their box and papers in, and will put their things away when done.  We will also work with them on self-help skills at lunch, such as opening their milk carton and cutting up their meat.

For security reasons, we will not be posting a daily schedule on this site.  Parents may request a copy if they so wish.  Schedules are ALWAYS subject to change without notice.
